At 9PM PT, the San Francisco Bay Bridge will light up with 25,000 individually programmed LEDs, joining the LED light fixtures already there... only these ones will display patterns and animations as part of a grand art project. And while you can make a pilgrimage to San Francisco and see that art for yourself on any given evening in the next two years, tonight is the first time The Bay Lights will ever light up. The $6 million project is holding a webcast to celebrate, starting at 8:30PM PT, and culminating in ignition at the top of the hour. You can follow along live right here.
