Christopher Nolan has confirmed that his next project will be Interstellar, a science fiction film that was rumored earlier this year. The Hollywood Reporter and others report that Interstellar is set for theaters on November 7th, 2014; it will be written by brother Jonathan Nolan and produced by Christopher Nolan and his wife Emma Thomas, who also co-produced Inception, Memento, and other Nolan titles. We’d heard before that Interstellar would be about wormhole travel and based on physicist Kip Thorne’s theories, but there are very few new plot details here: it’s described as “a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding.”
