Tempo Smart Calendar, an iOS calendar app that tries to smartly incorporate relevant information about your day, was initially so popular that the company launched a reservation system to keep new users at bay. Now, though, the waitlist is no more, and you can freely download a copy of the app to try it for yourself. Of course, Tempo’s Smart Calendar isn’t perfect and in the short time since it found itself overwhelmed, competitors like Sunrise and Osito have sprung up. We’re eager to find a personal assistant on iOS who anticipates our needs like Google Now, and we might be willing to trade in our calendar along the way, but it’s not yet clear what the perfect app will be.
