New trailers: ‘The Conjuring,’ ‘The Counselor,’ ‘Prisoners,’ and ‘Escape Plan’


THE CONJURING
Warner Bros. is slowly but surely ratcheting up the tension on its campaign for The Conjuring, and this latest trailer features members of the real-life Perron family the film is based on. Go ahead and take a look… but you might to want make sure the lights are on before you do.
THE COUNSELOR
Ridley Scott’s latest is a thriller with a script written by none other than author Cormac McCarthy. It’s a AAA title across the board, starring Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Cameron Diaz — and Javier Bardem, who looks to be proving once again that the secret to a great performance is crazy hair.
PRISONERS
The second trailer for Hugh Jackman’s upcoming crime thriller focuses largely on Paul Dano’s could-be killer and the young detective, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, that’s trying to track down two missing girls. The film is scheduled to hit theaters September 20th.
ESCAPE PLAN
Sure, there’s a new Terminator on the way. Yes, we’ve seen 1980s action heros team up before. The question is, Have we seen them team up to break out of prison in a movie with 50 Cent and that guy from Person of Interest?
