Google lets Glass Explorers invite a friend into the fold

Owners of the Google Glass Explorer Edition are about to become even more popular: Google is letting them invite others into the early-adopter program. Existing members started receiving emails tonight, giving them the option to invite a single friend, provided said acquaintance is at least 18 years old, lives in the United States, and is able to pick up their own personal Google Glass in either San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York. Unfortunately, it appears the same $1,500 price tag still applies, but if you’ve got a friend that’s a member of the Explorer Program, you now know exactly who to bother.
