We’re one week away from the release of Hesitation Marks, the first new Nine Inch Nails album in over five years, and the band has progressively been teasing its release with a variety of pre-release tracks, some huge festival performances, and one incredibly odd music video. Now, the hype machine has reached its natural destination — the new album is streaming for free on iTunes for the next week leading up to its release (unfortunately, it’s only working for users in the US).

It’s not a huge surprise, as lots of high-profile releases (including Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories) have been showing up on iTunes the week before launch, but it’s still an exciting day for fans who waited out NIN’s long hiatus and want to hear Trent Reznor’s “reinvented” project. If you like what you hear, Hesitation Marks is available for pre-order at iTunes and on NIN’s official website.
