Twitter is rolling out a redesigned version of its web app today that looks more like its apps for iOS and Android. The new look replaces the dark black navigation bar at the top of the site with a clean white design. The navigational elements — Connect, Discover, and so on — all remain the same.

There’s not much to see beyond that — the design of Twitter.com is just a bit lighter. When a service builds for many platforms, its designs invariably get out of sync. Today’s update brings the web, Android, and iOS just a bit closer together.
