Childish Gambino gave a shout out to Jack Dorsey on his new mixtape

Childish Gambino, otherwise known as Donald Glover, just released his latest mixtape STN MTN this week. It’s really good. You should listen to it. But after flowing over some classic southern rap beats, Gambino took the time to thank not only a handful of preeminent radio DJs, producers, and Pitchfork founder Ryan Schreiber, but also Square and Twitter founder Jack Dorsey.

That Glover gave Dorsey a shout out isn’t entirely surprising. Apart from his sizable fanbase on Twitter, the Community alum has talked about the internet and technology in his work for years now. Before releasing Because The Internet last December, Glover told The Verge that the web “is language that we should all be speaking.”
