Kiefer Sutherland is a busy man. The 24 star is so busy, in fact, that he accidentally revealed during an interview with IGN earlier this month that he was tapped to do voice acting in an upcoming Mortal Kombat game. Sutherland, who has spent over a year completing voice acting for Big Boss / Snake in Metal Gear Solid 5, said that “I did Mortal Kombat, and that’s such a huge game, but it’s so not like [MGS5].” He added that he wrapped up the Mortal Kombat gig “pretty quickly compared to [Metal Gear Solid].”
Kiefer Sutherland says he’s involved in a new ‘Mortal Kombat’ game

No new Mortal Kombat game has been announced since 2011’s installment for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita, and PC, and representatives for developer NetherRealm Studios didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment. However, Lance Sloane, a producer on the live action web series Mortal Kombat Legacy, revealed in 2013 that discussions about a possible feature film were complicated because they were figuring out how to “sync up with the launch of the game that they’re working on now.”
In any case, Mortal Kombat isn’t the biggest project on Sutherland’s plate: 24 is coming back this summer in a “limited television event” called Live Another Day.
