In its April 21st letter to shareholders, Netflix wrote that its planned move into new European markets would keep its expanded international segment at a net loss. However, the company expects overseas revenue to eventually surpass its US business. Netflix already services the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, United Kingdom, and Ireland in Europe.
