A brief new teaser released today by BBC promises the Twelfth Doctor will finally land this August. Even though a specific date hasn’t yet been set, this marks the start of a brand-new season of the long-running Doctor Who, and the first with Peter Capaldi playing the one and only Doctor.

Capaldi, who replaces Matt Smith in one of Britain’s most beloved roles, made his first appearance last year during The Day of the Doctor 50th Anniversary event, and then again — new kidneys and all — after Smith’s final appearance last season. Anticipation has been high to see where Capaldi will take the character. We’ll all find out this summer.
