At E3, the day before the press conference opens, Sony answered Microsoft’s games-filled press conference with one of its own. For nearly two hours, its executives and developers announced a stream of new games, new ways to play games, and entirely new kinds of games. And a year after it outdid Microsoft by announcing a better-looking, cheaper console just hours after Microsoft showed off the Xbox One, Sony won E3 again with a remarkable catalog of upcoming games.
