Sin City is about to return in all of its stylized and noirish glory, and today you can finally get a good long look at what you’ll be in for. The first full-length trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For has been released, teasing a film that’s just as moody and filled with comic book action, shots, and tropes as you might hope for. The trailer builds on footage that was released a couple months ago in a short-form trailer, but shows a good bit more color — from characters to explosions.

Like the original, A Dame to Kill For is directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez and is based on stories by Miller. A number of major roles from the original film return here, including those of Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, and Jessica Alba. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, and Josh Brolin are also joining the commotion this time around. It’ll land in theaters on August 22nd.
