Apple loves nothing more than showing off big numbers at its keynotes. User adoption, units moved, and apps downloaded are some of the company’s favorite, familiar ways to illustrate how much better it evidently is than the competition — often accompanied by a flash of smoke and the requisite applause. The smoke on its own is just a little silly, but how silly would things get if you took the stats and figures declaimed at WWDC and cut out the rest? Pretty silly, actually.
