The video game silly season is about to start. After a relatively quiet summer, which was highlighted by some fantastic new indie titles, September will kick off a three month period where new AAA games are launching on a seemingly weekly basis. Video game publishers love the holidays — it also happens to be the time when millions of new consoles are sold — and 2014 is no different. Even with the delays of Batman: Arkham Knight and the monster-hunting shooter Evolve, both of which are now coming out in 2015, the next few months are jam-packed.
