Pikachus are the cuddliest monsters to ever invade Japan

The recent outbreak of Pikachus in Japan is cute enough to kill. It began with a tooth-achingly twee advertisement that showed an entire battalion of the mouse-like Pokémon taking over escalators, elevators, and a random information booth. Then, Akarenga Park in Yokohama, Japan was flooded with 50 of the adorable rodents, who did their best to destroy onlookers with their incredible charm. Their appearance is reportedly part of a promotional event that is appropriately entitled, “Pikachu Outbreak.”
