In return for the monetary support, donators will receive rewards from a number of tiers, and one winner will be chosen to join Ferrell in San Francisco on Oct. 26 for a gaming event broadcasted live on Twitch. The prize will be awarded to one of the people who donates $10 or more. An all expense paid trip for two to San Francisco and a “VIP visit to Twitch’s office” is included in the prize.
“I know the popular perception of gamers,” says Ferrell, in his promotional video, “is that we’re all extremely motivated, highly philanthropic, and impossibly good looking. Let’s not alter people’s perceptions of us.”
Other rewards include gamer sunscreen at the $50 tier and cowbell at the $500 tier.
