According to BBC, Dutch inventors Arjen Beltman and Bart Jansen helped Pepeijn Bruins bring energy back to his rodent friend, which had been euthanized after falling ill to cancer. The inventors’ previous creations include “the world’s first stuffed, radio-controlled flying cat” and a flying dead ostrich.
Footage of their work will air in the UK on the Channel 4 program, All Creatures Great and Stuffed on Sept. 10. In the meantime, you can watch a dead rat fly in BBC’s video and in these handy GIFs.
