This is a real-life lake monster, according to a possibly crazy Icelandic commission

This shaky video, apparently, is definitive proof of the existence of a legendary Icelandic lake monster known as Lagarfljótsormurinn, or the monster of Lagarfljót. After an official investigation, an Icelandic truth commission has agreed to award a prize of roughly $4,300 to the man who shot the 2012 video, finally satisfied with the authenticity of the creature captured therein. I’m pretty sure it’s a fishing net snagged on a rock, but I’ll admit, I’m not a professional at these things.
