Comedian Louis C.K. is once again releasing a special for $5. Following in the tradition of last year’s movie ($5) and HBO special ($5), Live at The Comedy Store is a one-hour stand-up special that’s now available for download and streaming. For $5 you get three DRM-free video downloads (available in both SD and HD), three audio downloads (as MP3 or FLAC), and three chances to stream.

Here’s Louis C.K.‘s own take on the special:
I developed and prepared this material over the last year or so, mostly in comedy clubs. This special kind of goes back to when I used to just make noises and be funny for no particular reason. It felt right to shoot this special in a club to give it that live immediate intimate feeling.
The material should be familiar to anyone who saw one of his performances this year, including his sold-out shows this month at Madison Square Garden.
