Are you willing to pay $4 per month for ad-free comedy? Is anyone? NBC’s soon going to find out. But before consumers can properly subscribe to its upcoming SeeSo video service, the company will offer a free month-long trial that kicks off December 3rd. You can sign up to be notified when it’s live at NBC’s website. SeeSo users will get on-demand access to NBC’s primetime comedy hits like 30 Rock and The Office, plus other classic shows including Kids in the Hall — in HD for the first time — and Monty Python’s Flying Circus. There’s also an original programming component to SeeSo, led by The UCB Show and Dan Harmon’s HarmonQuest, with day-after replays of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers rounding out the content selection. NBC will start charging its $3.99 monthly fee in January, leaving you one month to decide whether SeeSo is worth the “less than a latte” price.
