Hannah Diamond’s new video for ‘Hi’ is about making friends on the internet

Hannah Diamond, the biggest pop star in PC Music’s pop star conglomerate, just released a new video for “Hi,” a song about love on the internet. “I don’t wanna be alone in my bedroom, on the internet / Waiting to say ‘Hi,’” she sings in the song’s pitched-up chorus while alone, in her bedroom, on the internet.

The video itself is pretty much what we’ve come to expect from Diamond: hazy lighting, sparkles, screens, gemstones, silks, and manicured nails, all delivered with a winking sincerity. The staccato, twinkling song soundtracks Diamond as she chats with people on the net and blows them web cam kisses. Hannah Diamond is supposedly coming out with an album sometime soon, but for now, a brief chat mediated by screens will have to do.
