Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is no stranger to mixing historical figures into its tale of the war between assassins and templars. The game, which takes place in London circa 1868, lets you pal around with Charles Dickens and Karl Marx, and help Charles Darwin blow up a drug lab. The game’s latest expansion continues this, putting you on the hunt for the infamous Jack the Ripper. According to Ubisoft, heroine Evie Frye will “investigate a series of crimes that draw her deep into the dark underworld of Victorian London’s Whitechapel district” in the expansion, which takes place two decades after the events of the main game — and looks to be a whole lot darker. You can find out for yourself on December 15th, when the update lands on Xbox One, PS4, and PC for $14.99.
