Saturday Night Live hasn’t had the strongest run this year, but, as ever, there are still some glimmers of light here and there. Last night showed Weekend Update hosts Michael Che and Colin Jost taking Donald Trump to task for his opportunistic racism, and it’s the best the pair has been in awhile. And then there’s this dig at Star Wars toy nerds. Sure, you have the 10-year-olds who’ll snap up a few Rey and Finn action figures they can. But then you have the 30-something nerds who shell out hundreds of dollars for sixth scale Kylo Ren figures, only to keep them under glass for eternity.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that. We all know the value depreciates once the toy’s out of its original packaging. It’s common sense!
