Watch the Legend of Zelda’s new female Link in action

Last month Nintendo revealed a brand new addition to the Legend of Zelda universe: Linkle, a female version of series hero Link, who wields a pair of crossbows and some sweet pigtails. And now you can finally see her in action thanks to this new trailer for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game Hyrule Warriors Legends.

The game — which is a spinoff of the Wii U’s Hyrule Warriors from last year — pits characters from the Zelda universe against huge, improbable numbers of enemies. The result is an absurd, but fun, action experience, reminiscent of the Dynasty Warriors series; in fact, Dynasty Warriors studio Omega Force is behind the Zelda spinoffs as well. In addition to Linkle, Legends also features playable characters including Tetra, King of Hyrule, and, of course, Link.

Hyrule Warriors Legends launches on the 3DS on March 25th.
