Quantum Break still exists, but this new trailer won’t tell you much

Quantum Break is somehow exactly as confusing and intriguing today as it was when it was first announced in 2013. It’s a combination of a game and a TV show, told from the perspective of both the heroes and the villains, and the choices you make in one medium affect what happens in the other. It’s got a Hollywood cast that includes Shawn Ashmore of X-Men, Aidan Gillen of Game of Thrones, and Dominic Monaghan of Lord of the Rings. If you need more, the entire premise is summed up in the trailer above — it’s a minute-long monologue about the game’s backstory, which involves revenge, familial bonds, and the end of time.

That's it. We're not sure what the game looks like outside a cinematic trailer, or how any of its weirder features — including the TV series — work. At least that's hopefully changing soon, since it was finally given a release date this summer: it's coming to Xbox One on April 15th, 2016.
