The first big update for the Apple TV has arrived, adding in the ability to control Apple Music through Siri. Siri’s inability to control Apple’s music service was a strange absence when the device first launched in October, but Apple made it clear that it would be moving quickly to remedy that. After launch, Apple announced that Siri would support Apple Music early next year, and it’s ended up beating that timeline. According to 9to5Mac, today’s update, tvOS 9.1, also adds in support for controlling an Apple TV through the iOS Remote app.
