Silicon Valley is only an episode into its second season, but HBO has already decided that it deserves another. The network announced this afternoon that it would be bringing Silicon Valley back for a third season in 2016. Veep was also renewed for a fifth season, coming next year. “Veep and Silicon Valley are terrific series, and I’m immensely proud that they will return to HBO next year,” Michael Lombardo, HBO programming president, says in a statement.

Though HBO is officially announcing it today, Veep’s next season has already been a point of discussion: the series’ creator, Armando Iannucci, announced last week that he wouldn’t be returning as showrunner next year. HBO promptly announced that David Mandel, an executive producer for Curb Your Enthusiasm, would take over.
