Breakout Vimeo series High Maintenance is heading to HBO. The network has picked up the show for six new episodes and will additionally make available the past 19 episodes via HBO, HBO Now, and HBO Go. The episodes are still currently available on Vimeo but its future on the platform isn’t clear; a Vimeo representative has told us, “We’re all in collaborative and active discussions on that right now.”
HBO picks up hit Vimeo comedy series High Maintenance
Created and written by Katja Blichfeld (30 Rock) and Ben Sinclair (The Big C), High Maintenance is a comedy about “The Guy” (Sinclair), a pot dealer / delivery man in New York City. The show originally debuted November 2012 and has so far ran for five “cycles,” with the latest three episodes debuting this past February. Blichfeld and Sinclair won a WGA award for the episode “Rachel,” which we’ve embedded above.
