Your email game is about to change. Giphy has released a Chrome extension that makes it perhaps too easy to find and embed GIFs when you’re sending an email through Gmail’s web interface. Installing the extension puts Giphy’s colorful icon right beside the formatting options button in Gmail. Clicking it will bring up a small box of GIFs, which you can filter by category, browse hashtags, or search through. Click on a GIF, and you’re set — it’s in your email. Use it to respond to birthday threads, welcome new hires, or express your reaction when an emoji simply won’t do. But most importantly, use this new power wisely.
