Kevin Bacon’s epic, angry dance scene in Footloose is one of the finest moments in ‘80s dance movie history, right up there with Jennifer Beals’ Maniac performance in Flashdance and the last number in Dirty Dancing. It’s also one of the silliest. Here, we see Ren McCormack’s dance without Moving Pictures’ “Never” in the background, turning it into a really athletic, if completely awkward dress rehearsal.
