If we were to make a reasonable guess at today’s Vergecast topics — if we were to hypothesize on the content filling the upcoming installment of our soon-to-be-155-episode show — it’d likely be Google, Google, Google, Google, our new Entertainment and Science podcast Verge ESP, Google, Google, Google, and Google. Give or take a Google.

Yes, there was other big news this week — Jony Ive’s new job at Apple, Time Warner Cable shacking up with Charter, and Jason Segel playing David Foster Wallace — but this Vergecast is (almost) entirely about Google’s I/O conference and everything we learn during its day one keynote today.

We’ll be live at 4:30PM ET / 1:30PM PT / 8:30PM GMT via the Livestream embed above. And if you miss the live show, you can always watch the replay (using the embed above) or download the audio version on iTunes. And speaking of iTunes, be sure to rate us five stars if you enjoyed the show. We’ll do our best to make sure you do.

One final note: be sure to listen to our brand new podcast, Verge ESP, which explores science, entertainment and the always fascinating intersection between the two. This week, hosts Liz Lopatto and Emily Yoshida chat with the creators of Halt and Catch Fire.
