Nintendo announces The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes for 3DS

It’s not quite the long-awaited Wii U game, but Nintendo does have a new Legend of Zelda coming for 3DS. It’s called Tri Force Heroes, and is a multiplayer-focused dungeon crawler in line with the Four Swords spin-off series. Players can work together to solve puzzles, get through dungeons and take down bosses, all with a more cooperative vibe than the often chaotic Four Swords games.

And, unlike Four Swords, which was often difficult to get players together for, Tri Force Heroes will be online-enabled. No release date has been given just yet, but we’ll keep you posted — along with a new 3DS version of Wii U game Hyrule Warriors, Nintendo fans will soon have even more ways to play as Link on the go.
