There’s no proper Animal Crossing game for the Wii U yet, but Nintendo is instead making one designed to get you to buy a bunch of plastic toys as well. Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival was just shown off during Nintendo’s E3 broadcast, and looks like a bizarre Mario Party-like board game that involves NFC-powered Amiibo figurines from the Animal Crossing world. It’s coming this holiday.
