Nairn isn’t another one of those jockeys capitalizing on fame, while occasionally rearranging songs on an iTunes playlist. He’s produced his own song.

“Up / Beacon (feat. Leanne Robinson)” is a pop-friendly club ditty that reminds this listener of the high school dance floors of the 1990s. Then again, every club song reminds me of the high school dance floors of the 1990s. Because I have no experience in actual clubs. Because I’m a nerd who’s intimidated by loud noises and heavy bass.
My idea of a good time is uploading this song into Garage Band, overlaying a couple dozens samples of Nairn shouting “Hodor,” and speculating on how the show will redeem itself after this season. I’m a simple human with simple needs.
