Formula 1 has posted an on-board view of Nico Rosberg’s fastest lap time ahead of Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix at Spa, and it’s a good one: Spa is a complex, nuanced course as it is, but when you’re watching it unfold at triple-digit speeds facing backward from Rosberg’s front wing, it’s even better. Roughly the first minute of the hot lap is from the wing’s vantage point, followed by a more traditional behind-the-driver view — still great, but I wouldn’t mind trying to watch an entire Grand Prix from that wing camera at some point.
This disorienting on-board camera is the best way to watch F1
