The wait is almost over, as Dr. Dre’s first album in 16 years is set for release this Friday on iTunes and Apple Music. But Apple subscribers are getting a special treat: Beats 1 DJ Zane Lowe took to Twitter today to announce that the album, Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre, will stream uncensored on Apple Music Thursday night:

— Zane Lowe (@zanelowe) August 4, 2015 That means three hours of music inspired by new N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, which hits theaters next Friday. That the stream is uncensored is an interesting play for Apple, as Beat 1 only broadcasts censored tracks. Presumably, Dre’s art demands the explicit language. (Or it could be that he works for the company and gets special dispensation.) Those not signed up for Apple Music, though, can definitely keep pouring a few out for the death of Detox.
