Meow The Jewels gets the nightmarish cat video it deserves

If you thought that Meow The Jewels — the cat-noise remix of Run the Jewels' eponymous second album — would mean the rap duo losing their dark and freaky edge, well, you haven't see the video for the single Meowpurrdy. Created by English animator and frequent monster mutator Cyriak, the official music video features some sort of manichean battle between and angel mutant cat and a devil mutant cat. There are glowing eyes and fangs aplenty, while the song itself (released last September) features samples from Lil Bub. Overall, yes, it's pretty good, but it's still no Wii Shop Channel mashup.
