Lenovo and Razer announced its gaming PC collaboration back in November, and now the first example is on show at CES this week. Lenovo has fitted its existing Ideacenter Y900 with Razer’s Chroma Full Spectrum lighting. The result is a special Ideacenter Y900 RE (Razer Edition) and it’s really the first of many joint products that are planned for the future.

The new multichromatic lighting glows from underneath the case, and in vents towards the rear. Lenovo hasn’t just lit up its gaming rig, though. The Chinese PC giant is also bundling Razer’s Blackwidow Chroma mechanical keyboard and a Razer Mamba Chroma mouse with the Y900 RE. These all combine to create quite the light show.

The first of many

If you’re a fan of Razer's software expertise then future Lenovo gaming PCs will start to include Razer Comms, Synapse, and Cortex. That’s really when we’ll start to see exactly what Lenovo and Razer can accomplish together, but for right now this is the first example of the future of Lenovo’s gaming PCs.
