Netflix has gone offline on Saturday afternoon, a day after the company made its new Marvel TV series Luke Cage available to stream.

The outage appears to have started around 3PM ET for United States and UK customers. According to a tweet from Netflix’s customer service feed, the company is working to fix the outage. The service does appear to be working on mobile devices and tablets.
There’s no word yet on what caused the outage. This isn’t the first time that the service has gone down under heavy loads: in 2012, the service was unreachable during Christmas Eve due to an issue with Amazon Web Services.
Needless to say, everyone looking forward to the weekend to watch Luke Cage is going to have to wait a bit longer, and people aren’t happy about it:
