Fans of the 2003’s The Room will finally have something new to quote at parties. Director Tommy Wiseau and actor Greg Sestero are reteaming for another movie called Best F(r)iends, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie is inspired by a real-life road trip Wiseau and Sestero took in 2003. Wiseau stars in the film, but leaves the directing this time around to Gary Fong.
The Room’s Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero are rejoining forces for a new movie

Best F(r)iends is about a mortician (played by Wiseau) who picks up a hitchhiker (Sestero) who has recently been kidnapped by ninjas. It seems to have a similar stunted conversational style and convoluted plot as The Room, except with a much higher production value. Here is some sample dialogue from the trailer:
Wiseau: This is my new car!
Sestero: This is yours?
Wiseau: Yes, it’s mine. I treat myself.
After its release, The Room became a cult classic thanks to its melodramatic (and not necessarily grammatically correct) dialogue and dramatic sex scene music. It might be too soon to call Best F(r)iends another instant classic from Wiseau, but the trailer doesn’t leave me much choice.
