A controversial one-man show
Not much is known about TrumpLand, but IFC’s official synopsis describes it as Moore’s “daring and hilarious one-man show, deep in the heart of TrumpLand in the weeks before the 2016 election.” According to TheWrap, Moore originally intended on performing the show at a theater in Ohio — a crucial swing state — but lawmakers deemed the show too controversial.
It’s not hard to imagine the justification. In the run-up to the premiere, Moore has described the film as an “October Surprise” and teased a photo of himself in an editing room working with the now infamous photo of Trump’s children.
