Earlier, during the event’s pre-show, Nintendo also released a brief-yet-beautiful new trailer, showing off some of the locations through the world of Breath of the Wild, as well as a few of the creatures you’ll encounter and what could possibly be our first real look at Princess Zelda.
Breath of the Wild looks to be a big departure for the series, shifting the Zelda formula into a more modern open world. Originally slated to be a Wii U exclusive, the game will also be coming to Nintendo’s upcoming Switch platform when it launches next year.
