In the first season of Daredevil, crime-fighting lawyer Matt Murdock took on an entire criminal syndicate led by the Kingpin. In season two, he’s up against just one man: the Punisher. A new trailer for Netflix’s original series shows the arrival of vigilante Frank Castle in Hell’s Kitchen, where he begins to eliminate gangs with “military precision.” This sort of no-holds-barred violence soon brings him into a confrontation with Murdock’s Daredevil, who begins to wonder whether or not he’s to blame for the Punisher’s ascendance.

And, of course, in this world of teasers, teaser trailers, and the endless subdivision of marketing material, the trailer itself ends by teasing another trailer. Yep. This is only part one, with part two — introducing Elektra — arriving on the 25th this month. Or, of course, you can ignore all the trailers entirely, and just wait for the new season of Daredevil to hit Netflix on March 18th.
