You probably know Humble Bundle as the place where you buy more indie games than you can actually play, but now the platform is more than just a charitable digital store: it’s a publisher funding original releases. Called Humble Originals, the new line of games will be released first to those who sign-up for Humble’s newly-launched subscription service, which offers a new bundle every month for a flat $12 fee. The first release — a quirky stealth game from Mighty Rabbit Studios called Elephant in the Room — is available as part of this month’s bundle. According to Humble’s John Graham, the new service has amassed 70,000 subscribers since launching late last year. Speaking to Destructoid, Graham describes the new Originals platform as “small gaming projects... that you won’t find anywhere else and that our subscribers will get to play first.”
