Last year, Verizon began offering an annual upgrade option for customers who purchased an iPhone 6S or 6S Plus. Now it’s expanding the offering to customers who pick up a Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge. Every Verizon customer who utilizes its device installment option to pick up one of Samsung’s new flagship devices will automatically be enrolled into the program.

Customers will need to pay at least 50 percent of the device price before they upgrade, but can do so as soon as 30 days after activating the phone. Although it doesn’t have an upgrade program covering every smartphone like T-Mobile Jump, Verizon’s offering covers the three most popular smartphones it sells, and there’s a good chance the program will get expanded to include the smaller iPhone expected to be announced next week, as well as the next Samsung Galaxy Note.
