HP’s 15-inch Spectre x360 is a big and sturdy media machine

The super-slim Spectre 13 may be the star of HP’s lineup right now, but a couple months back it unveiled a much bigger laptop that’s aimed at a slightly different part of the high-end market. That laptop is a 15-inch version of the Spectre x360 — a laptop that sounds a lot more like a typical Windows 10 machine: it has a touchscreen, and its display flips around 360 degrees to be used as a tablet.

Where the x360 tries to stand out is through build quality and specs. It has an all-aluminum body, an i5 or i7 processor, 8GB to 16GB of RAM, and an estimated 13 hours of battery life. The laptop’s 15.6-inch display can also be upgraded from 1080p to 4K, though you’ll probably lose battery life in doing so. I got to try out the 1080p model, and it still looked good at that size. My full impressions are in the video above.
