Ticketmaster already powered the live events pages for artists on Facebook, and now it’s looking to let users purchase tickets for those events without having to leave the world’s largest social network. “By putting the ability to buy tickets directly within Facebook we hope that we’re going to provide a more seamless purchase experience and sell more tickets,” Ticketmaster’s VP and general manager of distributed commerce, Dan Armstrong, told Buzzfeed.
As with most new Facebook features these days, the Ticketmaster integration will roll out the feature to a limited group of users initially, before expanding over the coming weeks.
