Retailer GameStop is getting into game publishing in a big way. Back in January the company announced its first publishing project, a collaboration with Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac Games called Song of the Deep. But that wasn’t just a one-off thing: today GameStop is announcing a brand-new venture called GameTrust that will focus entirely on publishing new games.

GameStop says that it won’t be involved in the creative process at all, but instead will primarily be focused on marketing, using its retail and digital stores to show off these games to customers. “Through GameTrust, GameStop will invest in exclusive real estate within its online and physical stores to offer gamers access to new games available across multiple platforms, including digital, physical, console, PC, and VR,” the company says.

While Song of the Deep will be the first game launched through GameTrust — it’s expected to launch this summer on PS4, Xbox One, and PC — GameStop has also enlisted an impressive lineup of studios that it will be working with. These include Frozenbyte, the Finnish studio behind the Trine series, Deadlight developer Tequila Works, and Ready at Dawn, which most recently launched The Order: 1886 on PS4.

It’s not clear what games these studios will be working on with GameStop, but the retailer says that the projects “will be announced soon.”
