Netflix is quietly updating some of its original series to support high dynamic range streaming, which, alongside 4K, is one of the more exciting display technologies driving current TV hardware advancements. The company has already added HDR support for Marco Polo’s first season and it plans to follow up soon with Daredevil, according to a statement given to Engadget last week. You’ll need Netflix’s priciest subscription tier — the $11.99 per month Ultra HD option — and an HDR-equipped TV to take advantage of the feature.
